Geoprobe Systems® owner Tom Omli expects the company to be an unfamiliar face to many at its first MINExpo this year, but he also expects that to change by the time the expo comes to a close. Already a strong player in developing equipment for the environmental and geotechnical markets, Geoprobe Systems® expects to expand its presence in the mineral exploration market, and MINExpo 2012 promises to be something of a grand opening for the company in that regard.

In 1971, The Reinforced Earth Co. (RECo) began doing business in the United States using a patented earth stabilizing technology known specifically as Reinforced Earth®. Back then, RECo was a streamlined operation that delivered a new concept for the construction of retaining walls, earth retention systems, slide corrections, mining, dump pocket walls, tank support structures, and large and heavy industrial applications.

After 30 years, K/M Specialty Pumps & Systems Inc. has not only established itself as a successful business, but it also has had a hand in making others successful, Operations Manager Ronnie Franz says. “A significant portion of America’s infrastructure is made possible by K/M Specialty Products & Systems Inc.,” he states.
